Agilit-e Workflow Engine
The Agilit-e Workflow Engine is an easy to use, flexible, and scalable Lotus Notes & Domino based Workflow Engine. Application behaviour and functionality is dictated by Workflow Process definitions and are not hard coded into the application. Processes are created in a centralised configuration database using a pre-defined structure and process building blocks.
Agilit-e provides a central location for planning, developing and ultimately driving all Business Workflow Processes throughout all Lotus Notes applications in the organisation. Processes can be viewed at different levels, ensuring that a process is always considered and planning holistically, instead of changing pieces of the process with unforeseen inherent effects on the chain.
BENEFITS
- Create completely new, feature-rich workflow processes in record time
- Apply changes to workflow processes easily and quickly by simply adding, removing or changing process configuration components
- Workflow changes are instantly incorporated into the relevant applications
- Define complete and sophisticated workflow processes without having to write any code
FEATURES
- Define processes using a standard workflow process structure (Workflow Steps, Options, Actions, Assignment etc.)
- Quickly create functionality by adding Actions and Criteria checks from pre-defined lists (Change Field Values, Send Notifications, Change Document Access, Check Field Values, etc.)
- Use the central task list to provide each user with a unique list of their assigned workflow activities from multiple workflow-enabled applications. Users open one database rather than scan multiple applications for tasks, and then open the related document directly in the relevant database by clicking on the document link provided. Tasks are automatically removed from the user's list once the required workflow action has been performed
- Define processes that allow parallel processing - allow multiple users to perform a review task on the same document simultaneously
- Delay sending of notifications in scenarios where applications are replicated to prevent users from receiving e-mail notifications before the relevant documents have been replicated to the user's local server
- Create dynamic processes by hiding / showing options based on pre-defined criteria
- Keep a full audit trail of workflow activity by populating the workflow history directly from the workflow process definition
- Add escalation to any workflow step - send reminders or re-assign documents if an action is not performed within a certain timeframe
- Create automatically triggered options to submit documents based on specific criteria - submit a document automatically once another agent has processed the document or if a field value has been changed
- Create or copy documents directly from the process definition using the actions provided
- Create custom criteria and actions using @Formula language
